Will Smith and Big Sean teased upcoming single 'Beautiful Scars' with a 'Matrix'-inspired trailer.

has dropped another breadcrumb about his upcoming single “Beautiful Scars,” which he’s been teasing with videos inspired by. The duo reenacts the famous red or blue pill choice Neo faces in the film, which harkens back to Smith originally passing up the role made famous by Keanu Reeves.

In the new clip, Big Sean portrays the Morpheus character to Smith’s Neo. “Look, you’ve made some awesome career choices your whole life. There’s only one you truly regret. Well, maybe two, but we’re not gonna focus on that one,” Big Sean tells Will, ostensibly referring to his infamous“So, I’m gonna give you a choice. Blue pill, everything remains the same, and you get to move on with your life. Red pill, you get to go back and star in that movie that got away. The choice is yours.

After Smith contemplates the choice, he decides he won’t miss either opportunity. “Here’s the thing, I really like my life right now,” Smith says, before choosing to take both pills simultaneously. “Shit, that wasn’t even an option,” Big Sean quips. The clip ends with the release date for Smith’s new single “Beautiful Scars” featuring Big Sean, which arrives on Jan. 30.
