Here are three things to watch in Monday night's Browns at Broncos game.
DENVER -- The Browns are hanging around the AFC playoff picture -- way outside of it, but still alive and if they’re going to deliver on their talk of trying to make a run, it has to start Monday night when they take on the Denver Broncos, currently in the final wild card spot.
Only two other players have surpassed 60 yards -- Tampa Bay’s Bucky Irving had 70 yards in Week 3 and Pittsburgh’s Najee Harris had 69 yards in Week 2. The eyeball test tells you Chubb is looking stronger each week -- he ran well against the Saints in a game where the Browns limited him to keep him fresh for the quick turnaround to Thursday night -- and looked more like Chubb against the Steelers, too.
The 25-year-old Alabama product has 24 catches for 379 yards and a touchdown over his last four games which projects to 102 catches and 1,611 yards over 17 games. Projections, of course, are just that and four games is a small sample size, but it’s worth noting that those four games are the ones started by quarterback Jameis Winston.
