Opinion: Will Donald Trump be arrested today?: Letters
I think it’s inevitable that Donald Trump will be arrested at some point. It would be better for the GOP and the country if he were to be simply barred from ever running again for political office. Anything more severe would simply make him that much more of a martyr in the eyes of his fanatical supporters. That will never happen because the Democrats and the far left need Trump to get votes.
However, I doubt that will happen because his lawyers will find a way to free him.The left and the mainstream media have been trying to get rid of Trump from the time he ran for president up to the present day. They have used false accusations including sexual misconduct, the Russian hoax, probing into his income tax, etc. Now the Manhattan DA is going after him with an accusation that other judiciaries have ignored.
