The other 22−who voted with Democrats to"This meeting has been organized by Derek Merrin, Phil Plummer, Susan Manchester, Scott Wiggam and Brian Stewart," Rep. Ron Ferguson, R-Wintersville, said."They were the leadership team we voted on as a caucus in November, and they are still perceived as the leadership by the majority caucus.
And that's one of several things Stewart told the USA TODAY Network Ohio Bureau that he expects to come up during Wednesday's meeting. The agenda for Wednesday's meeting includes talking about their goals, House rules, redistricting,"working with the Republican-led Senate," and a plan toThat last idea, known previously as House Joint Resolution 6, would require 60% of voters to approve future amendments instead of the current 50% plus one vote. The legislation would need to pass both the state House and Senate with 60% of the vote to be placed on the ballot.
