Damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain are predicted to batter much of the state later this afternoon and evening, with potential wind gusts over 125 kilometres per hour.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast possible severe thunderstorms for most of Victoria , which are likely to hit this afternoon and early evening.
