Huron reached her hand inside the inlet to see if she could reach the bird but was unsuccessful. She took a tire iron and tried to pry open the manhole cover, but it was bolted down. It took multiple attempts to contain him safely. Each time she tried to reach him, he would trot to another side tunnel under the street.
