Former Chicago Bulls forward and three-time NBA All-Star Bob Love has passed away at the age of 81, the team has announced. Love, who played 11 seasons in the league and had his No.10 jersey being retired in Chicago, died following a long battle with cancer.
DAVID MUNDEE Wicksburg head softball coach Josh Cox says once Dahlia Ganz steps on a softball field, she is all business.
“I am so excited,” Ganz said. “This has been a dream since I was a little girl. I have always dreamed of going to college ball, so thanks to Coach Brookins, the Chipola softball coach. She made the dream a reality for me. I can’t wait to continue with this sport in my life.”“I immediately fell in love with the campus, fell in love with all the coaches,” Ganz said. “It is also not far away from home, which is always a plus because I would like to come back home and see my family and friends.
Cox, however, said Ganz’s biggest value is her defense. The Panthers utilized Ganz at three different infield positions this past season, mostly at third base. Ganz also believes that part of the game along with her leadership abilities are her top attributes in softball. In signing, Ganz expressed thanks to her parents for the many sacrifices they have made and their support. She was also thankful to her friends for their support.
