Broadway is back on the big screen thanks Wicked, which sees the first movie in its two-part adaptation hit theaters on November 22. Of course, its pedigree precedes the stage, as the musical was adapted from Gregory Maguire's novel of the same name, which in and of itself serves as a prequel to L. Frank Baum's classic novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

The duo also explained how Nessarose and Boq handle their love triangle with Glinda, and teased where their journey will take them in Wicked: Part II. Because I am definitely not done, especially in the world of creating more spaces for disabled people. If it's not me, I want to make sure and advocate that it's another disabled person. There is absolutely a place for disabled people within the industry as long as we're seen, we're heard, and our accommodations are met. Ethan Slater: I've been saying my favorite number is"What Is This Feeling?" but maybe that's not true. Maybe I lied.
Ethan Slater: Yeah, that's a really nice question because I do think that there's a real relationship between Boq and Nessarose. There's a real friendship there, and I think that the friendship does grow and develop, especially through the scene at the Ozdust Ballroom. Ethan Slater: Well, that's the thing. I feel like what's really exciting about this is that some people are; a lot of people are. I think it really is such a good movie , and then to know that there's a second one? I don't know, I'm excited about that.
