Utah Gov. Spencer Cox has banned the use of the popular social media app TikTok on all state-owned electronic devices, according to a news release from the governor’s office on Monday morning.
“China’s access to data collected by TikTok presents a threat to our cybersecurity,” the Utah governor said in a news release Monday
Gov. Spencer J. Cox announced his fiscal year 2024 budget recommendations Dec. 9, 2022 at a press conference in South Jordan. The proposed budget will include $1 billion in tax cuts and a $6,000 compensation increase for every teacher in the state.
