Thomas Tuchel reportedly turned down the chance to manage Manchester United in the summer, due to disagreements over the club's transfer policy. The German tactician reportedly had discussions with Sir Jim Ratcliffe about potentially taking over at Old Trafford , even as United were still deliberating Erik ten Hag 's future. After concluding his stint with Bayern Munich in the 2023/24 season, Tuchel is currently without a managerial post.
