Besides Hit Man and Godzilla Minus One, Under Paris easily outperformed movies previously released, like Sing 2, The Lego Movie, and Real Steel, or films that were not as well known across the globe.
Under Paris' critics have considered the shark film as one that doesn't take itself too seriously and, in fact, hones in on its campy nature to its benefit.
