Speaking with our entertainment reporter Courtney Tezeno, the brothers reflected on Stamos’ emotional connection to his longtime friend Ken, the recipient of the garage renovation. “You see a side of him here that I don't think anybody has ever seen before, which is really sweet," Jonathan Scott said. "He is just the most grounded, genuine individual, and just a hell of a lot of fun as well.” Drew Scott added, “He's a big kid.” Jonathan laughed as he recalled the playful moments on set, joking, “I thought at one point we were going to get arrested because we touched his hair. Like, they've known each other over 40 years I think that's the longest relationship we've had for the show.
