The movement for flexible work just kicked into overdrive, as almost every company just tried working from home in some capacity at the same time.
Since Crunchbase shifted to working remotely in early March, McConnell said recruiters have had no problem hiring people remotely, and it’s clear that the workplace will not look the same post-pandemic.
He predicts that when the Crunchbase office opens again, only 15% of Crunchbase’s 150+ employees will return to the office when given the option of continuing to work from home. “We’re now putting that towards our community and other ways of having healthy employees,” McConnell said.
