Although Apartment 7A adds some depth to Rosemary's Baby's existing lore, it surprisingly cuts one crucial scene from the original film. Set only a few months before Rosemary's Baby's ending, Apartment 7A borrows many story ideas and thematic elements from its parent film. Since it unfolds in the same setting as its predecessor, it also marks the return of many of Rosemary's Baby's characters.
Terry & Rosemary's Original Movie Scene Doesn't Fit With The Prequel's New Twists Apartment 7A's Story Developments Retcon Rosemary's Baby's Key Moments Close When Terry meets Rosemary in Rosemary's Baby for the first time, Terry sings praises to Rosemary about how the Castevets helped her stand on her feet.
Strangely, according to Apartment 7A's timeline, Terry grows increasingly suspicious about the Castevets' motives and starts figuring out what they want from her by the time Rosemary and Guy move to the building. Owing to this, it makes no sense that she only has good things to say about the cult leaders whenever she meets Rosemary.
