In 2016, he led the league with 1,448 yards.The reality is he’ll fit in better to the Cowboys’ locker room and attack.
More importantly, Dak Prescott won’t feel any pressure, real or perceived, to get Hilton the ball like he would’ve with OBJ.They’ll let the ball find him naturally in Prescott’s progression of reads — and that’s what’s best for everybody. DeMarcus Lawrence told us last week he was interested in OBJ only if he was going to help win a Super Bowl — not creating a circus atmosphere.
Well, the reality is we all know OBJ is going to create a circus-like atmosphere whether he wants it or not.You know that’s why owner Jerry Jones was so hot and bothered to have him. For once, though, Jerry saw the bigger picture and didn’t buy the shiny bauble.Hilton will fit in well. After the first couple of days, he won’t be in the headlines unless he makes a big play in the game.
