A royal biographer has revealed the real reason the York sisters have become increasingly absent from major royal occasions.

King Charles’ first Trooping the Colour celebrations last weekendBiographer Andrew Lownie suspects the York clan are being sidelined because of the “embarrassment” of being associated with Prince Andrew.

According to Mr Lownie, the royal family is hoping to phase the entire York family out of public life altogether. These efforts were unsuccessful and neither Beatrice nor Eugenie became working royals and instead have their own careers in the tech sector and the arts, respectively. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie sits in eleventh position after Beatrice gave birth to her first child and knocked her sister further down the line.
