In 2018, though, the conversation to move Halloween celebrations to a weekend began, and became popular among parents, for a few reasons. First, it would allow Halloween festivities to take place all day long, which would keep families and children roaming the streets a little safer, come claim. Another reason says when children are forced to celebrate on a school night, it's difficult for parents to get their children to bed at a normal hour.
