USC didn’t play a complete offensive game against Stanford and might need one against Fresno State on Saturday night

LOS ANGELES — Even as USC left Palo Alto with, there was a slightly empty feeling as the Trojans considered the game. Particularly on the offensive side of the ball.

“We did things in that second half that bad offenses do. And when you do that against good football teams, you’re not gonna play the way you want to,” Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley said. “Whether it’s complacency, lack of focus, lack of trust, whatever it is, it’s gotta be better.”Fresno State is one of the best offenses left on USC’s schedule.

“If we don’t go out there and score, we should feel some way,” USC quarterback Caleb Williams said. “We get a lot of penalties and we miss keys on defense, you should feel some sort of way because it’s yours.”
