Netflix’s board of directors reportedly approved compensation packages for its co-CEO’s of over $35 million each
HBO Max has undergone aand will continue to find its legs once the Discovery/Warner Media merger is likely approved by the Department of Justice next year.
From a management perspective, The Walt Disney Company has had much more consistent management with its other streaming service, Hulu, with its programming arm largely supervised by Craig Erwich, one of Hulu’s original programming gurus, who still oversees that effort along with the ABC Network, in his free time.
Among all of the streamers, the steadiest management has always been under the roof of Netflix, with Reed Hastings and Ted Sarandos partnered in it successes, and despite some bumps along the way the two leaders continue to break ground and attract massive audiences, across all genres. Their accomplishments are many and far too diverse to capture here, but a quick re-cap of some highlights help fill in why these two generals are still winning the streaming wars, after so many years together on the battlefield:
