New Jersey's junior senator celebrates Biden's cannabis move

Leading the chorus of hallelujahs is Sen. Cory Booker, who has fought to reform marijuana laws since arriving in Washington. His praise for Biden is not without irony: This is the man he joked was “high” for not supporting legalization during the 2020 debates, and the same president whose administration suspended, asked to resign, or placed in remote work dozens of staffers who had admitted to prior cannabis use.
Since I have taken office, I've worked tirelessly to end the failed War on Drugs, including recommending to use executive power to issue pardons. I'm extremely proud of
