The upcoming Mission: Impossible installment trailers see Ilsa man a sniper while wearing an eyepatch. And while this was the only scene captured in the trailers where audiences saw her that way, many wondered how she came to wear an eyepatch when other scenes showed her not having one.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT After Ferguson reveals that the reason for Ilsa wearing the eyepatch isn't necessarily a cool one, Pegg chimes in and cheekily states that she wore one because she cannot wink. Ferguson revealed this was the case and stated that an eyepatch was used to remedy the fact that she could not wink while director Christopher McQuarrie was lining up a shot of her with the sniper.
