Having gained popularity from Gossip Girl and their other teenage projects, the actors, who were into their 20s by the later seasons of the show, were likely ready to move on to other things. Stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, and Chace Crawford all went on to star in other movies and television shows following the end of their Gossip Girl careers.
