I’ve publicly condemned celebrities and politicians alike when they’ve made derogatory statements about people with disabilities, and I’ve challenged studios and actors when they’ve cast able-bodied performers in disabled roles. While these actions sometimes sparked backlash, they also initiated crucial industry-wide discussions about authentic representation.

I created LINK20, a global network of young activists who advance disability rights. Through their own initiatives, these activists have secured equal pay for Paralympic athletes and changed discriminatory terminology in Major League Baseball.
