Last week, Congress’s Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee said that when Biden was vice president he used pseudonyms in private emails with his son and business associates to conceal allegedly corrupt activity with foreign leaders. The committee, which has drawn on bank records, FBI documents and congressional testimony, also revealed that the Biden family received a $US3.5 million payment from Russian billionaire and former wife of the mayor of Moscow, Yelena Baturina, in February 2014. She dined with Joe and Hunter at Washington’s swanky Café Milano a few months later.
Where Biden may prevail in a debate with Trump is on economic issues. But even there Biden has arguably failed to convince Americans of his “Bidenomics” economic strategy.
