For someone over the age of 60, the death rate for covid-19 is 3.4 percent. That’s 34 times the death rate for the seasonal flu.

. This means that the very people who need to be the most careful are being told by their most trusted news source that they don’t need to be careful.

People living longer and enjoying a high quality of life is good for everyone. Boomers are still very much running the world, and good for them. But that feeling of invincibility can lead to their downfall. We are not invincible. Just because you look like you’re 30 doesn’t mean your Covid-19 survival rate would be the same as someone in their 30s. For someone over the age of 60.
