Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall are expected to mount a vigil around the Queen's coffin on Saturday, along with their cousins, the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex
Mr Phillips married Canadian management consultant Autumn Kelly in 2008, having met at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal five years earlier. They have two children together, Savannah and Isla, who are 18th and 19th in line to the throne.Mr Phillips has a degree in sports science from the University of Exeter. After he graduated he worked for Jaguar as corporate hospitality manager and then for Williams racing team, where he was sponsorship accounts manager.
He later took at job at the Royal Bank of Scotland, before leaving in 2012 to become managing director at managing director at SEL UK, a boutique sports management company, the position he still holds.in 2016: “I guess it’s a little strange but if you’re growing up with that sort of thing, there’s never really that moment when you go, ‘oh wow’., Balmoral and Windsor and we were incredibly lucky to be able to share a lot of our childhood time with her,” he added.
The King will walk at the front of the Royal Family, with the Queen’s other children, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and the Earl of Wessex just behind him.Next in the procession will be the late Queen’s son-in-law, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke of Gloucester, her cousin, and her nephew, the Earl of Snowdon.
The procession will be led by a massed Pipes and Drums of Scottish and Irish Regiments, the Brigade ofIt will involve a total of about 6,000 representatives from all three Armed Forces – the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. At the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April Mr Phillips was moved in the procession to be between Prince William and Prince Harry, reportedly chosen by the Queen to act as a buffer between the feuding brothers.
