Last year, the 2016 Olympic all-around champion made a stunning return to gymnastics, winning a record sixth world title. She now attends therapy regularly, even during competition weeks, and is determined to focus on what she can control.
The couple met on a dating app called Raya in March 2020 and began dating shortly after. A few weeks after their marriage, they held a second ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The football player recently signed a two-year free agent contract after a season with the Green Bay Packers. Before that, Owens played for the Houston Texans.
The athletic pair are building a house in the Houston suburbs that will be finished in late summer or early fall — after the Paris Games. Owens, 28, is one of Biles' biggest supporters. Most recently, Owens was spotted at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships, where his Olympian wife put on a stellar performance and cruised to a record ninth national title.As the Olympic Games near, it's likely we'll continue to see Owens on the stands supporting Biles. If Biles makes the team, which is highly likely, she will become the first American woman to make three Olympics gymnastics teams since Dominque Dawes.
