Police are still trying to solve the Tupac Shakur murder case where he was fatally shot at a Las Vegas intersection almost three decades ago. This is what social media users have to say...In the latest development, it isthat Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department served a search warrant in Henderson, Nevada - a city approximately 15 miles from where the rapper was shot.
The warrant was served on 17 July as part of the ongoing investigation into his death, reports NBC News.The rapper was shot four times by an unknown gunman who was driving a white Cadillac. Tupac was in a white BMW which was driven by Death Row Records founder Marion Knight.At the time of his death, he was only 25 years old.During his short music career, Tupac sold more than 75-million records worldwide.
Several social media users expressed their disappointment at police taking so long to solve the murder case. "Same Tupac that died almost 3 decades ago! Even the dude many suspected pulled the trigger - Orlando Anderson died ages ago.From a documentary I saw, I think only 2 guys from the shooting scene are still alive - Suge Knight and another guy in the other car," wrote one user.
