It has been a heckuva couple weeks for the world’s biggest professional wrestling promotion as Vince McMahon has reportedly strong-armed his way back in and to the very top of the WWE’s board.

The news has come fast after the 77-year-old, who retired last July after the Wall Street Journal reported that he agreed to pay four women millions of dollars over several decades to cover up sexual misconduct allegations, has worked his way back in. McMahon reportedly returned to sell the company that he has spent most of his life building, and has already been able to be elected vice chairman.

That boiled over late Tuesday night with DAZN’s Steven Muehlhausen reporting that the WWE has sold to the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund. Muehlhausen reported that the WWE will go back to being a private company and that it is unknown if McMahon will return to be the head of creative.Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
