Whitney Houston's 'The Bodyguard' Set for Film Remake

TheBodyguard is getting the remake treatment, nearly 30 years after the original romantic thriller starring Whitney Houston & Kevin Costner.

The InheritanceLawrence Kasdan of Kasdan Pictures and Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback are set to produce the film. Reynolds will also serve as the project's executive producer. Lin has been slated to work on the movie as far back as 2011.
