The Chicago White Sox have signed former Cleveland Guardians pitcher James Karinchak to a minor league contract. Karinchak, who struggled with injuries in 2022, will look to rebuild his career in the White Sox organization.

The reliever was drafted by Cleveland in ninth round of the 2017 MLB draft, and made his debut in 2019. Karinchak spent five seasons with the big league club, his best year was in 2022, where he posted a 2.08 ERA in 38 appearances.
