“I know there are certain people that I have not come through for which are my friends and family,” he told the audience at the Los Angeles premiere on Thursday night.Choking back tears, he added, “I’ve just been totally gone and AWOL and so I just want to thank you for sticking with me.”White, pictured here with his mother, admitted he was “AWOL” from family and friends while filming.
