Gripping murder mystery series White Lies will premiere on M-Net, DStv channel 101 on Thursday 7 March at 20:00. TThe series is set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town.– Edie Hansen is stunned by the murder of her estranged brother in a home invasion, and is pulled into the nightmarish aftermath, united with her orphaned niece and nephew, just as the two become prime suspects in the murder.
She quickly finds herself at loggerheads with Detective Forty Bell, a damaged twenty-year veteran of the force, fighting his own demons an battling an incompetent and crumbling police force.Dormer spoke to three investigative journalists to prepare for her role – Mandy Weiner, Susan Comrie and Holly Watt.
