White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said that Trump is not planning to meet with Jacob Blake's family during his visit to Kenosha, Wisconsin, tomorrow
on Saturday that Trump would travel to Kenosha to meet with law enforcement and to survey some of the damage from the recent protests.that the president had reached out for a meeting with Blake's family, but Crump said later Sunday there hadn't been any contact.
"He's reached out to the Blake family. I don't know if they were able to connect yet. And I don't know for sure if that's on the agenda," ."I'm sure, given the opportunity, he'll be more than happy to do that. But I haven't gotten that information just yet."Blake, a Black man, was shot seven times in the back eight days ago by police in Kenosha and is reportedly paralyzed from the waist down. Protests and riots have since enveloped the city. Last Wednesday, police arrested 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide following the death of two protesters.
