The White House on Thursday gave a short preview of President Joe Biden's State of the Union speech, saying it will cover his vision for the economy, the legislation passed over the last two years, and his optimism for the country.
Biden will deliver his third State of the Union address on Tuesday, likely giving him his biggest platform and his largest television audience of the entire year.With less than a week to go, a reporter asked press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the speech and what might be in it.
Biden will give the speech amid a classified documents scandal and with his approval ratings stuck in the low 40s. At the same time, his party overperformed in the midterm elections, and he's believed to be gearing up for a reelection campaign.
