President Joe Biden delivered a performance at Thursday’s debate with Donald Trump that was so bad even his staunchest allies are calling for the president to drop out of the race. But if Biden sticks it out until November’s election, as it looks like he plans to do, he’s going to need plenty of help convincing young people he can still do the job. And online influencers might be just the ticket.

Biden acknowledged his lackluster debate performance at a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday. “I know I’m not a young man, to state the obvious,” Biden told the crowd. “I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to. But I know what I know. I know how to tell the truth. I know how to do this job.” Strangely, Biden’s team seems to think the zinger of the night was when the president said Trump had the “morals of an alley cat.
