The White House says US District Court Judge J. Michelle Childs is one of the people President Biden is considering for a Supreme Court nomination
The Senate Judiciary Committee earlier Friday said it was delaying Childs' nomination hearing because she is on a list of Biden's potential picks to serve on the Supreme Court."Judge Childs is among multiple individuals under consideration for the Supreme Court, and we are not going to move her nomination on the Court of Appeals while the President is considering her for this vacancy," White House spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement.
And that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court."Biden said he will make his choice by the end of February.Biden said he will put a Black woman on the Supreme Court.
