The group hopes to organize white men to throw their support behind Kamala Harris against Donald Trump.
A newly organized campaign called 'White Dudes for Harris' is holding a mass video call this evening, saying that 'it's time for white men to get 100 percent engaged and make sure Kamala Harris is elected as our next President.'It already claims to have 75,000 participants registered for the call at 8 p.m. EST tonight, with transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg and actor Mark Hamill scheduled to speak.
'The Republican party's official policy platform for 2024, published earlier this month says States should be 'free to pass laws' restricting abortion: 'We will oppose Late Term Abortion, while supporting mothers and policies that advance Prenatal Care, access to Birth Control, and IVF .'However, Vance has previously advocated for a nationwide abortion ban before more recently throwing his weight behind Trump's stance to let the states decide.
