Whistleblowing Mongolian women released from police custody
Three Mongolian women who had reported an alleged rape of two of their countrymen by a police inspector have been released from detention, says the law firm representing them. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Hasnoor Hussain, April 28, 2020.
THREE Mongolian women who were detained after whistleblowing on the alleged rape of two other women by a police officer were released today, their lawyers said. The three were released from custody under an interim protection order after lawyers from Thomas Philip Advocates and Solicitors filed an application for review on the order.
