Leeds United have crafted an unbeaten run of six matches and head into a big clash with Southampton after a week of training where Daniel Farke and his staff are on top of any complacency
Whips are cracked if Leeds United’s players start loving themselves too much in training after crafting a six-match unbeaten run in the Championship. Daniel Farke saw a high mood in training after their Watford blitz last weekend, but that buzz was quickly swept aside by the hard work of the matter at hand.
“A win is always good for the mood,” he said. “It's also good for confidence and if you can come back, analyse the game and go into the training week with a smile it's always a bit easier than after a difficult result.“If I am honest, it just influences the first day because then you're on it again and you work on your different topics that are important for the next game.
“If someone is not focused and not concentrated, we as a coaching staff also make sure they are on it and they're not thinking about what happened three or four days ago because this doesn't help you anymore. A win is always good for the mood and the confidence and I much prefer to head into a week with a good result and a good spell, like we have at the moment, but we also have to make sure you're on it again and we are not loving ourselves and enjoying ourselves too much.
