Jacksonville Jaguars rookie defensive tackle Maason Smith is feeling beyond 100% after his injury days at LSU.
One of the most important members of the Jacksonville Jaguars' 2024 draft class feels like he is in the best shape of his life.
“I definitely feel like I'm in the best shape of my life right now, post-injury. I feel like the last couple of games of my college career, I feel like it was pretty good," Smith said this week. After sustaining an ACL injury in the first week of the 2022 season, Smith returned in 2023 and started 12 games while recording 28 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two pass deflections.
