Raising children has never been an easy task, but today the world is making it harder. Honestly, I’m glad my kids are adults, because I don’t think I would handle it well now.
One time, during a mall adventure of our own, I lost track of the youngest. It took the help of their incredulous father for me to realize I was holding the boy. Parents who demand success, typically in academics, are tigers. Their kids never get a break from the expectations, because as soon as one goal is reached, a new goal is set. How do you spell stress?
Bulldozer parents push the hardest. Some will even break the law to remove obstacles that might hinder their darlings’ dreams, including paying for universities to accept their children as students.
