The 2026 FIFA World Cup officially kicked off on June 11, and several cities across the Puget Sound region are hosting watch parties for fans who cannot attend the six matches scheduled in Seattle.
Not everyone will be able to score a ticket to a FIFA World Cup match at Seattle Stadium, but fans will have plenty of opportunities to watch games and soak up the tournament atmosphere across the city. Thousands of soccer fans packed watch parties across Seattle on opening day, gathering at Seattle Center, Pier 62, and other fan celebration sites as the city began its monthlong World Cup festivities.
Seattle's official World Cup fan celebrations are centered around four primary locations along the city's "Unity Loop": Seattle Center, Waterfront Park, Pacific Place, and Victory Hall in SODO. Fans can watch matches daily inside the Armory on large screens or gather outdoors at the Mural Amphitheatre, where free World Soccer Watch Parties are being held throughout the tournament. Along Seattle's waterfront, Pier 62 has emerged as one of the most popular viewing destinations.
Fans can watch matches on a large outdoor screen overlooking Elliott Bay while enjoying food trucks, a beer garden, and soccer-themed activities. The waterfront is also home to the Seattle Soccer Celebration, including the floating soccer barge that has become a signature attraction during the tournament. Registration is required for many Pier 62 watch parties because of capacity limits. Located near Seattle Stadium, Victory Hall is hosting "Seattle Matchday Live" throughout the World Cup.
The venue features a 23-foot screen, stadium-style audio, food and drinks, and additional outdoor viewing areas for fans who want to be close to the action on match days. Downtown shoppers can also catch World Cup action at Seattle Soccer House inside Pacific Place. The venue features a four-story LED screen, interactive exhibits, and fan experiences designed to create a central gathering place for soccer supporters throughout the tournament.
Seattle will host six FIFA World Cup matches during the tournament, with organizers expecting hundreds of thousands of visitors to travel to the region before the championship concludes in July.
