Trees For Houston partnered with LyondellBasell and the Astros Foundation to give away 2,500 native trees.
The event will include everything from hands-on activities to demonstrations by city departments. Festivities will include a mini forest and ecosystem, tree giveaways and student art contests. The local band City Nights will take the stage, and food trucks will include Big 6 BBQ, Carey’s Frozen Delight and The Jewell Box.
