The Seattle Seahawks have made two trades over the past week, and on both occasions they either sent or received a 2025 sixth-round draft pick. To clear up any confusion, let’s take a look at Seattle’s latest draft capital situation heading into next year.
There were no picks involved when cornerback Mike Jackson Sr was traded to the Carolina Panthers for Michael Barrett; it was the rare player-for-player swap. Officially, the Seahawks have six picks, five of which are their own and one via the Chicago Bears. The two projected picks are compensatory fourth- and fifth-rounders from the Damien Lewis and Jordyn Brooks contracts.
