An emotional Maui resident has broken down in an interview with CNN as she questioned why President Biden hasn’t visited the devastated Hawaiian island yet. “Aren’t we Americans too? We’re part of the United States, but why are we getting put in the back pocket? Why are we being ignored?” Ella Sable Tacderan said. Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Maui on Monday (local time) where he will spend the day assessing the island before flying back to Lake Tahoe in the evening.
