Artist and business owner Yuli Chang opened Curator Coffee as a space for small-batch local ceramists to shine.
Yuli Chang is the founder of Curator Coffee. In addition to selling ceramic works from local artisans, Chang also teaches pottery classes and hosts events at the Northside cafe.
Being a ceramist in today’s world, where social media seems to rule, can be quite a challenge. Selling my beautiful ceramic art in stores and galleries was a challenge because retailers often want a huge online following or a fancy portfolio, things I didn’t quite have. So, I came up with a cool solution:. It’s not just a place to enjoy yummy local coffee, but also a spot where small-batch local ceramists like me, who aren’t social media stars, can shine.
