WhatsApp’s latest update brings a couple of new features and a bunch of fixes, especially on iOS. One of the highlights of the update is the ability to forward and rewind a video, thus adding a bit more convenience when you want to return to a video to check something in particular.
This feature has been in testing since last year, but it seems to be making its way to iOS devices now. We’re not sure if the same feature is also available for Android users since the changelog hasn’t been updated on the Google Play Store yet. What you should know is that the update released on March 25 should allow you to quick forward/rewind by double tapping the edge of a video. According to WhatsApp, this feature will be rolled out to everyone in the coming weeks, so be patient if you don’t see it yet.
Along with the new functionality, WhatsApp has also included a bunch of improvements and bug fixes, as well as the ability to start conversations and discuss with Meta AI and AI bots from Mac.
