Whataburger plus changes to its rewards program equal a win-win!

Customers can earn points at most Whataburger restaurants, excluding locations at airports and sports arenas.

They could redeem rewards for a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, a taquito with cheese, a medium order of French fries, a cinnamon roll or a 16-ounce shake. Whataburger initially tested the program in its “core and growth markets, including San Antonio,” a spokesperson said. Points expire if a rewards account has been inactive for a year.

Since Chicago-based BDT Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Whataburger in 2019, the company has been pushing deeper into the Midwest and Southeast and started franchising again.
