John Wick: Chapter 5 is in development, but had John won his High Table duel in John Wick: Chapter 4, it would be a very different movie.
John Wick: Chapter 4 concludes with John's death, but if he had lived, it would set up a very different version of John Wick: Chapter 5. In John Wick: Chapter 4, John is at war with the High Table, and finds himself battling his old friend Caine , who is forced to hunt John when his daughter's life is threatened by the High Table official, the Marquis de Gramont .
Of course, Caine's daughter would have just as much reason to be vengeful towards the High Table for putting her father in the position of having to hunt and eventually duel John Wick in the first place. Still, that would likely not remove the rage Caine's daughter would feel towards John for Caine's demise. With the vendetta of Caine's daughter in place, John Wick: Chapter 5 would also tell a very different story from its four predecessors.
While the Marquis de Gramont would be very unlikely to find any support in John Wick, the Baba Yaga could well have an ally in this story in Akira Shimazu . With Caine having died in his duel with John, Akira would find herself effectively indebted to John, as she had her own vendetta against Caine for killing her father Koji in order to get to John.
